Hadith 355

Ar-Rubai' bint Mu'awwidh ibn 'Afra’ said: "I brought the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) a tray of ripe dates and fluffy cucumbers, so he gave me a handful of trinkets and gold!”

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ أَخْبَرَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ، عَنِ الرُّبَيِّعِ بِنْتِ مُعَوِّذِ بْنِ عَفْرَاءَ، قَالَتْ‏:‏ أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، بِقِنَاعٍ مِنْ رُطَبٍ وَأَجْرٍ زُغْبٍ، فَأَعْطَانِي مِلْءَ كَفِّهِ حُلِيًّا وَذَهَبًا‏.‏
