Hadith 1793

It was narrated that Humaid bin Abdur-Rahman said: "Whoever misses his Wird at night, let him recite it during prayer before Zuhr, and that will be equivalent to night prayers."

أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عُمَرَ، قَالَ مَنْ فَاتَهُ وِرْدُهُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَلْيَقْرَأْهُ فِي صَلاَةٍ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ فَإِنَّهَا تَعْدِلُ صَلاَةَ اللَّيْلِ ‏.‏
