Hadith 2926

Jabir b 'Abdullah reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) met Ibn Sa'id (Sayyad) and there were with him Abu Bakr and 'Umar and Ibn Sayyad was in the company of children. The rest of the hadith is the same.

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَبِيبٍ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي قَالَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ لَقِيَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ابْنَ صَائِدٍ وَمَعَهُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ وَابْنُ صَائِدٍ مَعَ الْغِلْمَانِ ‏.‏ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ ‏.‏
