Hadith 29

Jābir reported that the Prophet ﷺ glorified Allah when Sūrat al-An’ām was revealed, and said, ‘So many Angels accompanied its revelation that the horizon was covered with them.’” Reference: Although it is reported by al-Hākim 2/314 and Bayhaqī 1/365, the report is classified by some scholars as weak. Shaykh Muhammad b. Rizq b. Tarhooni analyzes the arguments against the authenticity of the hadith and asserts that in fact it is ḥasan (sound).
