Hadith 1041

It was narrated from ‘Ali concerning the verse “You are only a warner, and to every people there is a guide` [Ar-Ra`d 13.7]: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The warner and the guide is a man from Banu Hashim.`

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ خَيْرٍ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، فِي قَوْلِهِ ‏<a href="javascript:openquran(12,7,7)" id="q1" name="q1"><c_q1>{‏إِنَّمَا أَنْتَ مُنْذِرٌ وَلِكُلِّ قَوْمٍ هَادٍ‏}</c_q1></a>‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمُنْذِرُ وَالْهَادِ رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي هَاشِمٍ‏.‏
