Hadith 1423
Abu Hurairah (RAA) narrated that The Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) said, “Otherwise his value will be estimated and he will be required to work to pay for his freedom, but he must not be overburdened.” Agreed upon.
And it has been said that the requirement to work was Mudraj (words of the narrator lumped into the narration).
وَلَهُمَا: عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ - رضى الله عنه - { "وَإِلَّا قُوِّمَ عَلَيْهِ, وَاسْتُسْعِيَ غَيْرَ مَشْقُوقٍ عَلَيْهِ" } <sup>1</sup> . وَقِيلَ: إِنَّ اَلسِّعَايَةَ مُدْرَجَةٌ فِي اَلْخَبَر ِ <sup>2</sup> .
