Hadith 1539
Mu’adh Ibn Jabal (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) said, “A man does nothing to rescue himself from Allah’s punishment better than remembering Allah.” Related by Ibn Abi Shaibah and At-Tabarani with a good chain of narrators.
وَعَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ مَا عَمِلَ ابْنُ آدَمَ عَمَلاً أَنْجَى لَهُ مِنْ عَذَابِ اَللَّهِ مِنْ ذِكْرِ اَللَّهِ } أَخْرَجَهُ ابْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ, وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ بِإِسْنَادٍ حَسَنٍ . <sup>1</sup> .
