Hadith 1607

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: ‘A miscarried fetus sent before me is dearer to me than a horseman whom I leave behind.”

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ النَّوْفَلِيُّ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ رُومَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏"‏ لَسِقْطٌ أُقَدِّمُهُ بَيْنَ يَدَىَّ أَحَبُّ إِلَىَّ مِنْ فَارِسٍ أُخَلِّفُهُ خَلْفِي ‏"‏ ‏.‏
