Hadith 1521

It was narrated from Jabir bin ‘Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “Do not bury your dead at night unless you are forced to.”

حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الأَوْدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْمَكِّيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏"‏ لاَ تَدْفِنُوا مَوْتَاكُمْ بِاللَّيْلِ إِلاَّ أَنْ تُضْطَرُّوا ‏"‏ ‏.‏
