Hadith 1276

It was narrated that Ibn ‘Umar said: “The Prophet (saw), then Abu Bakr, then ‘Umar, used to pray the ‘Eid prayer before delivering the sermon.”

حَدَّثَنَا حَوْثَرَةُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ثُمَّ أَبُو بَكْرٍ ثُمَّ عُمَرُ يُصَلُّونَ الْعِيدَ قَبْلَ الْخُطْبَةِ ‏.‏
